Frequently Asked Questions

1. What products do you offer for custom embroidery?

Hats: Snapback, trucker, dad hat, beanie, fitted caps, and visors.

Apparel: Polos, t-shirts, hoodies, sweatshirts, jackets, fleece, button-downs, and more.

Let us know your needs — we’ll recommend the best garments and styles for your design.

2.What stitch types and thread options are available?

  • Satin stitch for smooth, solid fills

  • Running stitch for clean outlines and details

  • Specialty stitches, including 3D puff for raised, premium texture (ideal for bold logos and lettering)

Our durable polyester threads come in a wide color palette, plus metallic threads and high-contrast options for maximum visibility and pop.

3.Where can the embroidery be placed?

On hats: Front center, left/right crown, side panels, or back closure.

On apparel: Left chest (most popular), right chest, full front, back yoke, sleeves, or hood.

We’ll help you choose the best placement based on garment style, design size, and how the item will be worn.

4. What file types do you accept for artwork?

Vector files (AI or SVG) give the best results. High-resolution PNG or JPG files are also accepted. We provide professional digitizing services to optimize your design for embroidery.

5. Do you have minimum order quantities?

Small runs are welcome on both hats and apparel. We’re flexible for testing ideas or small teams. Bulk orders receive very competitive per-piece pricing.

6. How long does production take?

Standard turnaround is typically 7–14 business days after artwork approval (varies by quantity and complexity).

7. How is pricing determined?

Pricing is based on:

  • Stitch count and design complexity

  • Number of thread colors

  • Garment style, material, and quantity

We provide a clear stitch-count estimate and quote with every digital proof.

8. What makes a design embroidery-friendly?

  • Use bold lines, solid shapes, and legible text (small fonts and fine details can get lost).

  • Gradients are possible but are usually simplified into solid colors.

  • For intricate logos, we can assist with simplification (additional design help available).

  • 3D puff works especially well on simple, bold designs for extra dimension.

9. What apparel fabrics work best with embroidery?

Embroidery performs best on mid- to heavyweight fabrics like polos, fleece, jackets, hoodies, and structured shirts. Lightweight or very stretchy performance fabrics can sometimes pucker — we’ll advise you on the best garment choices for your design.

10. Do you offer a proof before production?

Yes. Once you share your artwork and preferences (garment style, color, placement, quantity), we’ll send a digital mockup with stitch count and pricing for your approval.

11. What’s the difference between embroidering on hats vs. apparel?

Hats have curved surfaces and limited space, so designs are usually smaller. Apparel (especially polos and jackets) offers larger flat areas for bigger or more detailed logos. The process and durability are similar, but garment construction affects how the embroidery sits and feels.

12. How should I care for embroidered hats and apparel?

  • Turn items inside out before washing.

  • Use cold water on a gentle cycle.

  • Avoid bleach and fabric softeners.

  • Hang dry or tumble dry on low heat.

  • Iron on the reverse side if needed (never directly on the embroidery).

Proper care keeps your embroidery looking sharp for years.

13. Can I send my own garments (blank apparel or hats) for embroidery?

It depends on the item and quantity. Many customers prefer us to supply the blanks for better quality control and consistent results. Contact us to discuss customer-supplied items.

14. Is embroidery more durable than printing?

Yes. Embroidery is stitched directly into the fabric, making it highly resistant to fading, cracking, and peeling. It’s the preferred choice for professional, long-lasting looks on polos, jackets, uniforms, and hats.
